Situated in the village of Montpellier de Medillan, 20 Minutes from the lovely beaches of St.Georges-de-Didonne and Meschers, with Pons, Cognac, Saintes and Royan all within easy reach, we are ideally situated for exploring the coast and towns of the Charente Maritime. The Gites are equipped to a very high standard and have everything to make you holiday comfortable. Each Gite has a secure private garden and to the rear of the property is a swimming pool set in 3 acres of garden.

Excellent accommodation for long let with central heating and satellite TV. Only 150 euros per week including electricity.

The Charente Maritime everything you could ever want in a holiday. Sandy beaches that go on for miles, with interesting coves and calm waveless family bathing spots to the fiercest surf for the sporty.

A wonderful climate second only to the Cote d’ Azur with up to twice as much sunshine as the UK and most months 20-30% warmer.

In the grounds of the property is a games room with pool table, table tennis, darts, a small gym etc. Outside is football, volley ball, swings, boule and bikes are also available.

The accommodation sleeps 8 people + cot and is well equipped with everything to make your holiday comfortable.

The front door leads to:

• Hallway - with a table, chairs and book case
• Open plan living room / kitchen - there is a table and chairs, dresser, settee, satellite T.V. DVD player and radio cassette/CD. The kitchen is equipped to a very high standard with dish washer, full size cooker; washing machine, microwave, and fridge/freezer. For winter lets there is also central heating.
• Bedroom one - has bunk beds and a single bed.
• Bedroom two - has a king size bed or can be made up as two singles, which ever you prefer.
• Bedroom three - has a king size bed and single bed.
• All bedrooms have plenty of storage space.
• Shower room - with a shower and wash basin
• Bathroom - with bath, basin and toilet,
• Separate toilet

Outside:

There is a private garden with garden furniture and barbecue with access  via a gate to the 10m x 5m swimming pool and the large 2.75 acre garden with many activities for children and adults, including Pool Table, Table Tennis, Darts, Volley ball, Football goal, etc, two bikes are also available.

About the location

With an abundance of history Pons, Saintes and Rochefort are all within easy reach, or if you prefer La Rochelle and Royan with its many restaurants serving the finest food and wine.

The vineyards famous for Cognac and Pineau are a sight to behold and the tasting is even better. With Cognac only 45 minutes away a tour of the many Cognac houses is a must.
