Dating from the 19th century, the Château de Pampou is located in a very small village next to a great lake where you can try many watersports. You can also rent a boat and go down the river Seine to reach many beautiful sites (Les Andelys, Portejoie, Poses...). Pampou is the ideal house for people who want to relax, rest and forget the city life!

The château is situated right by the river Seine in the middle of a 40 acre park, à la Française, you can live your life as a XIX century landlord.

Distances: 80 miles from Paris or 1 hour by train. 20 miles from Rouen, 20 miles from Giverny and 80 miles from Deauville.

About Porte Joie in Eure, Normandy

We are very close to "Château de Vascoeuil" which organize many Art exhibitions all year round.
The city of Louviers (5km from Pampou) is very well known for its wonderful church; On saturdays, a big market takes place in the middle of the town. It is also very easy to go and visit the famous Claude Monet's garden in Giverny (about 30km from Pampou) And, of course, Rouen is the city of Normandy to visit with the superb cathedral, the wonderful Art museum, all the little streets with many shops, restaurants, cafés, etc...
