In the middle of 30 acres of private and listed woodland our large and private property will offer you the calm and beauty of French landscapes. Annie and Daniel, a franco- irish couple are happy to welcome you. With the river Sèvre running through it (ideal for fishing and boating) this property has 3 lovely self catering houses with panoramic views of the river. The cottages can be rented separately or together.

You can enjoy the magnificent walks in the park, along the river and relax around the swimming pool (90 m2)

Every week we make pizzas in our old bread oven. Everybody helps to prepare the dough, light the oven and get the party going.

Our property is ideal to enjoy the calm and tranquillity of the country side with all the activities and services you need in the town of Getigne or Clisson only a few miles away and 45 minutes from Nantes. Nantes is a big town full of life with a very nice cathedral and castle where you can do lots of shopping and tasting of local products and wines. The Vendée, only on the other side of our garden, has a very rich past and offers many castles and attractions to visit. The area is rich in history, the sea is one hour drive away and The Puy du Fou, a renowned theme park is 30min away. You wont be without something to do!

About the location

The area of la Sèvre et Maine is in the heart of the muscadet region and offers splendid landscapes of vineyards and châteaux. The town of Clisson is part of the loire-atlantique and only 30 minutes away from Nantes. Nantes is a big fortified town with a renown cathedral and castle and many shops and restaurants from all horizons. We are only 45 minutes away from the sea and 30 minutes from the Puy du Fou (historical theme park).

Our property is only 5 minutes from the lovely village of Getigne where you can find several services such as : post office, pubs, bread shop and news agent... We are only 10 minutes away from the town of clisson, renowned for its Italian architecture and its 14th century castle, which you can visit. This atypical French fortified little town is built on the sevre river with many bridges and paved streets. The town is also known for its Italian Gardens along the river, “la Garenne Lemot”, where you can find surprising pieces of architecture. How to get here

A one hour direct flight is available from Gatwick to Nantes. If you wish to avoid fuss we can collect you from the airport and bring you to our property  for 30 Pounds (50 Euros) or you can rent a car at the airport.

The eurostar either direct (via Lille )or indirect (via Paris ) offers a nice journey through France.
London-Paris: 3h and  Paris- Nantes: 2h ( expect  1h, 1h30 to change stations) or London-Lille: 2h and Lille-Nantes: 4h ( Via Lille Europe).

Additional price information

• Locations are from Saturday to Saturday.
• On day of arrival the flat will be ready for 2pm and must be vacated by 10am the following Saturday.
• There is a reduction of €200 if booking for a weekend only, during January-May and October-December.
• Deposit required: 20%.
• Final payment due: 4 weeks before.
• Damage deposit required: 65 Sterling Pounds (100 Euros) Cheque to be joined to Final payment and will be sent back 2 weeks after holiday.
• Bed and Breakfast also available on demand.
