Home description

Abbeystone Cottage is a converted barn that is reputed to have originally been built with stone taken from the famous Abbey of Le Bec Hellouin. The barn offers comfortable accomodation for up to eight people. Downstairs there is an enterance hall, a pleasant sitting room with a large fireplace, a large kitchen dining room and a seperate toilet. Upstairs there are three bedrooms, two large ones, one with a double bed and the other with twin beds and then there is a smaller room with adult bunk beds in it. There is also a separate shower and toilet room.

The cottage is fully equipped to sleep up to eight people. Accommodation comprises:

Sitting room with a large open fireplace. There is a sofa bed in the sitting room that can sleep two people.

First Floor

Shower room and second toilet.
Two double bedrooms one with a double bed and the other with twin beds
One smaller bedroom with adult bunk beds.

A baby cot/extra child’s bed is available on request.

The cottage is centrally heated and wood is available for open fires – ideal for winter lets (please note there is a fuel supplement).

We supply a large basket of logs on arrival but further logs can be purchased at a reasonable cost. The cottage is fully equipped with crockery and cutlery.Bedding linen is provided for the use of guests however, we do not provide towels. There is a DVD player and radio and CD player as well as a collection of books and some games and puzzles. There is also an outdoor picnic table with chairs and an umberella for guests to use during their stay.
