A lovely stone cottage with a beautiful terrace area and garden and a large swimming pool shared among just three other houses. Located in a peaceful setting within the pretty village of Saint Pierre de Frugie the houses are architect designed to include many local features. Furnished to provide the highest level of home comforts each has a lovely spacious open-plan living room area and a modern fully equipped kitchen.

There is lots to see and do in the area including mountain biking, canoeing, horse riding, karting and an Adventure Climb, a fantastic activity for children and teenagers.

Accommodation detail

The houses are furnished to provide:

• Fully equipped kitchen/dining/sitting room: the kitchen has fitted beech wood units, double sink, lots of storage and is very well equipped. It has a microwave, oven, hob, dishwasher and fridge. This opens onto a lovely large dining and sitting area, furnished with nice leather sofas and solid wood furniture. The room has a beautiful wall of exposed local stone and an open fire. The room is very bright and spacious with sliding doors onto a front terrace and French windows onto a rear terrace – which means you can be in the sunshine at all times of the day!
• Lovely sheltered terrace: accessed through a large sliding glass door from the dining room - perfect for outside dining with the barbeque on the teak table and benches.
• Separate utility room: with a washing machine and second fridge.
• Master bedroom: with comfy double bed, solid wood bedside lockers, fitted wardrobes and a nice ensuite with walk in shower. French windows open onto the garden.
• Two large twin bedrooms: each containing two single beds, fitted wardrobes and both with French windows onto the garden.
• Large fully equipped bathroom: with bath/shower, wash hand basin and toilet.

We have a cot and highchair available by request.

Pool and Garden

There is a lovely, large pool with Roman steps and a big shallow end for children. There is a solar shower beside the pool and plenty of space for sunbathing with parasols and sun loungers provided to each house. The pool is fully fenced off to ensure children’s safety.

About the location

Saint Pierre de Frugie is a beautiful village with a lovely church, school and Mairie (town hall). In the village there is also a lovely bar/café Bistro Escargot with a gorgeous terrace overlooking the valley, and another small, family-run restaurant serving delicious home cooked meals. There is a lake for fishing a short stroll from the houses and a recreational area with a children’s playground.

La Coquille is a small market town, which is a 3 minute drive away. It has all the facilities you could require including a supermarket, pizzeria, bakeries, chemist, a lovely restaurant and a small market every Thursday.

How to get here

Le Hameau des Abeilles is a 35 minute drive from Limoges airport, which is served by direct flights form seven UK destinations, or a 1.5 hour drive from Bergerac. It is a 3.5 hour drive from Paris and a 2.5 hour drive from Bordeaux.
