Home description

Comfortably furnished stone cottages on the edge of a small hamlet in Charente Maritime.

Each cottage is fully equipped for year-round living and benefits from an enclosed terrace and private garden, opening onto 1 acre landscaped gardens with shared swimming pool. Owners are resident on site and can provide help and advice on where to go, what to do or life in France.

For large parties all 3 cottages may be booked together to provide for a total of up to 18 guests.

Long winter let available:

The cottages are available for winter lets from September/October through to May/June. They are fully insulated with double glazing and electric central heating. The kitchens are fully equipped, with a full-size cooker, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer, iron, toaster, electric kettle etc. There is plenty of storage space for all your personal belongings and furniture storage is available for an additional small cost. 

The owners live on-site and are available to provide advice and assistance with any aspect of relocating to France as Angie has recently retired as a registered estate agent.

• One double and one twin bedroom with cot and high-chair available on request.
• Open-plan kitchen/dining room - fully equipped with fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and TV/Video.
• Bathroom with shower and WC.

About the location

Les Landes is situated on the edge of a small hamlet just 20 minutes from the coast. The nearest shops are 4kms in Tonnay Boutonne and major supermarkets are 15 minutes away in Rochefort or St Jean d'Angèly. There is a good choice of restaurants and bars within a 10kms radius.

How to get here

We are only 30 minutes from La Rochelle airport. There is a TGV train service from Surgères (15kms) to Paris.
