A beautiful, stone-built, Norman farmhouse, facing south, built in the 17/18th century. Completely renovated in 2002 it is situated in grounds of 5000m2. The gardens have been planted with an avenue of young beech trees.

The house is situated in very pleasant, undulating countryside on the edge of Lake Dathée, 300 metres away, and 5 minutes from Vire.

Accommodation is ideal for large families or groups of up to 19 people and was completely renovated in 2002.

Ground Floor

• Living-room with granite fire-place (35m2 - facing south with views  over the lake and countryside, exposed stone walls and beams - satellite TV - video) - bar - armchairs - plus 2 sofa beds (each sleeps 2 if required)
• Kitchen (25m2, south-facing) with newly fitted kitchen including electric oven and hob, fridge with freezer section, large fridge, extractor hood, dishwasher, sink. Complete set of kitchen utensils, crockery for 45 people.
• Cloakrooms with two WCs, vanity unit, coats stands and washing machine, iron.
• Dining room 60m2  - with large mezzanine - facing south with viewes over the lake and countryside, large patio.

First Floor

• Bedroom 1 with shower room and WC, facing south, double bed
• Bedroom 2 with shower room and WC, facing north, double bed
• Landing or mezzanine 15m2, armchair + sofa bed which sleeps 2
• Bedroom 3 with shower room and WC, south facing window with 2 single beds
• Mezzanine above the dining room 40m2
• Relaxation corner with Pool table, TV/DVD, 2 armchairs, 2 sofas beds which will sleep 4
• Shower room with WC

Second Floor

• Bedroom 4, attic room, with 5 beds (2 single beds and 3 bunk beds)
• Bedroom 5, attic room, with shower room and WC, south-facing, 2 single beds
• Bedroom 6, above the large mezzanine, north-facing, 2 double beds, small mezzanine, 2 single beds.

The beds are all equipped with draw-sheets, pillows and a fleece blanket. A high chair, cot and baby bath are also supplied.

About the location

The property is comprised of two gites wich overlook the lake (300 m) and the countryside. The gites are semi-detached but completely independent.
