19th Century House with an enclosed garden located in the Village of Le Sap.   The house is managed by an English caretaker who will meet you at the property on the day of your arrival and who is available should any problems arise.

The garden is enclosed by brick walls, gates and outbuildings. Garden furniture and chairs are available from the attached 15th century cottage.

A comfortable 19th Century village house with a sizable enclosed garden.  There are 3 Bedrooms sleeping 6 plus a baby.   The house is well equipped for families and is centrally heated.

Entrance hall leading into:

• Sitting room with open fire, two sofas, an armchair and a video
• Dining room with seating for six, original tiled floor and overlooking garden
• Kitchen with washing machine, fridge-freezer, oven and hob, microwave
• Shower room with hand basin and heated towel rack

Stairs from entrance hall to landing leading into:

• Spacious master bedroom with built in wardrobe and windows to three sides including delightful rural views
• Second double bedroom overlooking garden, light and airy, it has a large wardrobe, a cot and a chest of drawers and leads into
• Twin bedroom with two single beds ideal for children with built in wardrobe and chest of drawers which leads into
• Family bathroom with bath, washbasin and toilet.

 

 

About the location

The house is located in Le Sap - a quiet medieval village that is well located in the centre of pays d'Auge, known for its cider and cheese making. The village has a thriving market square with a couple of small groceries, three bars, boulangeries (the nearest being 100 yards away) and a charcuterie. There are a couple of restaurants and a tourist information centre. There are larger supermarkets in Bernay and L'Aigle and many other fine restaurants within 10-15 minutes drive.
