Spacious Detached Traditional Farmhouse

Traditional, modernised farmhouse, well equipped and self contained set in its own grounds.  Located on the edge of Fruges market town overlooking peaceful countryside within 2 minutes walk of boulangerie and supermarket.

Outside

To the front there is a large gated drive providing ample parking for several cars with large lawns to either side.  Leading from the kitchen is an enclosed courtyard and to the side of the barn is patio furniture, a great place to enjoy a glass of wine.  The property boasts lovely views of the open countryside to the rear.

Holiday Accommodation at The Dovecote

The large farmhouse sleeps 7/8 people. The house comprises:-

Ground floor:

  • Kitchen/Diner - fully fitted with electric cooker, fridge/freezer, dish washer, microwave and table and chairs.
  • Lounge/Dining - light spacious room 30' long with two windows, lounge furniture and dining table to seat at least 8. TV with English Sky.
  • Additional sitting room/bedroom - with settees and sofa bed ideal for a child, windows on two sides.
  • Separate toilet.
  • Laundry Room - with washing machine and tumble drier.
  • Bathroom - with bath, over bath shower, hand basin and toilet.

First floor:

  • Bedroom 1 - four poster double bed, windows on two sides.
  • Bedroom 2 - double and single bed, 2 windows.
  • Bedroom 3 - king size bed.
  • Bathroom - with shower cubicle, hand basin and toilet.

About Fruges in Pas-de-Calais, Nord Pas de Calais

Located on the edge of Fruges market town, overlooking peaceful countryside within a 2 minute walk of boulangerie, supermarket and all local shopping facilities.

Montreuil-sur-Mer - Beautiful walled town, the location of Victor Hugo's Les Misérables. Cobbled streets, antique shops, cafes in the square and a Saturday market.

Etaples - A thriving fishing port offering freshly caught seafood of all kinds to cook yourself or eat in the local restaurants.

Le Touquet - Fashionable seaside resort with wonderful designer shops, casinos, trendy cafes and bars. The Aqualud water park is situated right on the beach.

There are numerous beaches all along the Côte d'Opale, all with fabulous sands and dunes with a varying range of facilities. The historic battlefields of Agincourt and Crecy are nearby as are First and Second World War sites and cemeteries.

  • All prices are per week.
  • Bookings are from Saturday 3pm to Saturday 11am.
  • All bookings are subject to a 20% deposit, with the balance to be paid 4 weeks prior to arrival.
  • A £100 returnable damage deposit is also required 4 weeks prior to arrival and refundable within 1 week of your departure.
  • Bed linen and towels can be hired.
  • Christmas, New Year & long weekends also available - price on application.
  • From October to April there is a supplementary heating charge of £35 per week
