About the location

Vauce is an unspoilt picturesque village built around a church dating back to the 12th century. Vauce is a charming hideaway for a restful holiday,whilst still being within easy reach of many of France's attractions.

Vauce is situated on the northern edge of Mayennne bordering on the Loire valley to the south, Normandy to the North and Brittany to the west.

The region has much to offer with its breathtaking scenery, surrounding unspoilt villages with medieval architecture.

There are lots of summer local village fetes throughout the summer where you can mingle with the locals and enjoy the French way of life.

As you will discover there is plenty to see in the surrounding area's The North and west coast is easily accessible as a day trip. There is also a train service from Laval which takes you directly into Disney land Paris.

Why not visit the market towns of Gorron and St Hilaire du Harcout and pick up some wonderful French cheese and wine for lunch.

A little further out is Mont St Mochel, which is well worth a visit with its wonderful monastery built on a rock out at sea, well worth a day out.
