Haut Languedoc Natural  Regional Park, just 400 metres from the magnificent Gorges d’Heric with their stunning scenery and fantastic river valleys, offering walks, rambling, rock climbing and freshwater pools ideal for splashing, swimming and paddling.

A gentle stroll takes you to the centre of the small village of Mons La Trivalle where you will find an auberge bar and restaurant, bakery, tabac, small supermarket, wine cave, pizza take-away, and small tourist information office. There is another restaurant a further 3-4 minutes walk from the village centre.

Holiday Accommodation at Villa Romarin

Villa Romarin is modern and airy, with the accommodation laid out over one level. There is a delightful terrace for sunbathing and al-fresco dining, and a private hour-glass shaped swimming pool, all with unforgettable views of the gorges, valleys and mountains. The property comfortably sleeps 6 people in bedrooms.

• Living/Dining room - large and sunny room with attractive views of the garden and surrounding countryside, 2 sofas, UK satellite tv and radio channels, DVD player, CD radio cassette player, dining table and chairs. French doors to terrace and down to pool area.  Selection of books, DVDs and CDs. 
• Kitchen – modern and fully equipped with integrated stainless steel electric cooker and hob, microwave, dishwasher.
• Utility room – adjoining the kitchen and equipped with large fridge freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board.
• Master bedroom – large sunny room with king-size bed and ensuite shower-room & wc and patio doors giving access to the garden. Ceiling fan.
• Bedroom 2 – sunny double bedroom with dual aspect windows.  Ceiling fan.
• Bedroom 3 – light and airy twin bedroom with two single beds. A travel cot and highchair are available at no extra charge on request. Standard fan.
• Shower room – tasteful and modern with wash hand basin, shower and wc.

Exterior

The large garden has a private swimming pool 8m x 4m (exclusive use) and has stunning views of the Gorges d'Heric.  There is a small cherry orchard - help yourself to fruit in season. There is a covered terrace with garden table, chairs, parasol, a barbecue and sunloungers. Plenty of private off-road parking.

About Mons in Hérault, Languedoc Roussillon

Mons La Trivalle is a small pretty village, just a 500m walk from the Villa. From the village you can follow the old railway line (now a cycle path) all the way to Olargues, listed as one of the most beautiful villages of France.

The wonderful sandy beaches of the Mediterranean are just 50 minutes away, with plenty of beachside cafes and restaurants, and water sports facilities.

• By plane - the approximate driving time from the following airports to Villa Romarin is: Beziers (45 mins), Carcassonne (2 hrs), Montpellier (1.5 hrs), Nimes (2 hrs), Perpignan (1.75 hrs), Toulouse (2hrs), Girona, Spain (3 hrs).We provide you with detailed directions of how to reach us from the airport on confirmation of your booking.

• By rail - There are direct TGV fast trains from Paris and Paris CDG airport to Beziers that take under 5 hours. At Beziers take the Millau train to Bedarieux from where it is a 20 minute drive to Villa Romarin . There is a taxi rank at Bedarieux station.
