Hillside House is in ‘chic’ Cote Fluerie near Deauville 5km from the beach. Set in a private garden on the hills overlooking the pretty protected Norman village of Gonneville sur Mer. Hillside House has commanding countryside views from all it’s rooms. It’s marvelous location on the ‘triangle d’or" of Calvados enables you to easily enjoy the numerous sites of this varied region.

Gonneville itself is a ramblers paradise and boasts its own cross country facility so you can work off your long leisurely lunches! 15 minutes inland takes you on the cider route "Route de cidre" in the heart of the pays d’auge with the local fare of calvados, cheeses and the typical Norman villages like Beauvron on Auge (voted one of the prettiest villages in France).

The house has heating and is comfortable all year round in fact the area is lovely to visit out of ‘season’ as there are lots of special events throughout the year so it is a grand idea to take advantage of the out of season lower rates.

The accommodation:

Ground Floor

• Kitchen - brand new and fully equipped. There is a hob, oven, fridge freezer, dishwasher, micro wave and a washing machine. Leading of the kitchen is the ‘cave’, great to store your wine and cheese in the garde a manger.
•  Dining room - with its large fire place.
• Salon - large room with a wood burning Godin that opens onto the patio and gardens.
• Bedroom one - with double bed and has an en-suite. This room opens out to the garden.

First Floor

• TV lounge - with TV and video machine and lots of videos for young and old alike
• Bedroom two - has double bed with en-suite
• Bedroom three - with double bed
• Bedroom four - with two single beds
• Bathroom
• Separate toilet

All the bedrooms are large and conformably furnished and all have a view of the country side.

Outside

The private garden is completely enclosed and offers the opportunity to enjoy dining al fresco and barbecue. There is a closed garage.
