Home description

Where is it

Maine-et-Loire

Nestling in unspoilt countryside and only a five minute walk from the sleepy village of Savigne sous Le Lude with a local restaurant, cafe and shop offering fresh bread and croissants daily. La Fontaine is close to the Chateaux towns of Le Lude, La Fleche and Bauge with their open air markets, street cafes, restaurants, fromageries, charcuteries and pâtisseries along their cobbled streets. The charming towns of Saumur, Chinon, Angers and Tours are all under an hour away and the famous 'Wine Trail' will take you on a tour through acres of vineyards with the opportunity to sample and buy the local wines.

This property is ideal for holidays throughout the year offering cosy winter breaks, early  spring holidays taking advantage of cheaper fares and Spring sunshine to explore the local countryside and hot Summers  with al fresco lunches and late evening barbecues  with your favourite glass of wine by the floodlit pool.

The properties (the farmhouse and the stone barn) may be rented separately with sole use of all facilities and the pool (depending on the time of year).

Please note, for the 2012 season, the farmhouse and the converted barn must be rented together as one property from 21st July to 1st September. At all other times, you may rent either of the properties with the other property remaining unoccupied whilst retaining full use of the facilities.

During the winter season, October to March, both properties are offered for long term rental arrangements (minimum 1 month) at greatly reduced rates. Please contact the owners to discuss your requirements. For shorter periods i.e. one to two weeks, please refer to the tariff chart.
