Two Independent Gites from 16th Century in the Lot Valley

Both gites are situated in the hamlet of Tour de Faure on the hillside of the Lot Valley with lovely views on the medieval village of St Cirq Lapopie. The small road leading to this hamlet is a dead end, so it is a very quiet and relaxing place even though it is within a reasonable walking distance of the bakery, the grocery, the river Lot and the beautiful village of St Cirq Lapopie.

These two typical stones houses are very different to each other dating back to XVI century with thick walls, stone sink and unusual roof shapes.

Holiday Accommodation at La Tour

La Tour is unique, with 2 towers and stone stairs case, the gite is only a part of the building. Behind the heavy wood doorway there is a courtyard with barbecue and garden furnitures.

The accomodation is about 60 square meters and is perfect for a couple and 2 young children.

  • A spacious dinning room/ living room with wood burning stove in the fireplace, a big farmhouse table, sofa and two single beds, a huge antique cupboard.
  • A fully equiped kitchen, with electric cooker, dishwasher and washing machine, fridge with deep freezer.
  • A bathroom with bath and separated WC.
  • A bedroom with double bed.

How To Get To Cregols in Lot, South West France

  • The main airport is Toulouse over one hour drive away, but there is also Rodez, Brive, Bergerac at the same distance.
  • Train station in Cahors (Paris Toulouse) and bus shuttle to Tour de Faure.
  • A 20 is about 20 minutes away if you decide to travel by car.
