This delightful holiday village is set in several acres of country gardens in the heart of the island between Saint Gilles and Chéray with swimming pool, tennis and boules, close to sandy beaches.

There are four style Gîtes, either independent or semi-detached villas,  with a private terraces, garden furniture and a barbecue,WIFI.

Holiday Accommodation at Gîte des Lys

Each gîte has:

  • A living room with a sofa bed and a dining area.
  • An equipped kitchenette
  • A one or two bedroom (s)
  • A bathroom with a shower, washbasin and WC.
  • A big terrasse with BBQ, table, chaises, umbrella.

Additional Information

All the cottages have kitchens equipped with a gas hob, microwave and a coffee maker and have television a hairdryer and various games. There is a communal laundry room with washing machines and ironing facilities, and a card telephone is available.

At the heart, Ile d'Oléron is part of the Charente Maritime on the Atlantic coast and is connected to the mainland by a three kilometre bridge. Known locally as La Lumineuse because of its warm, sunny microclimate, it is the biggest of the islands along the west coast, surrounded by 80 kms of coast and beautiful sandy beaches.
