The apartment is located in the second arrondisement of Paris, an area just steps from the city's main attractions. That apartment is a modern one bedroom, one bathroom vacation rental including all modern amenities. The apartment is located on the 5th floor and has charming views. The building itself has an elevator, and a security code is required for entry into the building.

It is a place to relax and rediscover your joie de vivre, a romantic setting to experience with your partner, and, of course, a home base for your exploration of the city of lights.

Holiday Accommodation at The Apartment

The apartment has three rooms:

• Salon is a large open space, home to the kitchen, dining room, and living room.
• Kitchen is fully equipped to handle food preparation ranging from a fruit and cheese plate to a multi-course meal. It has a modern convection oven, as well as a microwave, a washer and dryer, ample storage and excellent lighting.
• Dining area very comfortably seats four people and looks out onto the living area and windows with a view of the street below. The exposed original beams add to the feeling of warmth and coziness, as does the working fireplace.
• Bedroom has a queen size bed with headboard and footboard, bedside tables with lamps for reading, and a dresser and wardrobe to provide plenty of storage for your clothing. The bedroom window overlooks a quiet courtyard.
• Bathroom has been updated and contains a vanity with a sink basin, mirror and a modern full shower.
• Separate WC

The apartment was refurbished and renovated in 2003, so there are hardwood floors and Afghan rugs throughout. The apartment also offers cable CD, TV, DVD - VCR player and free DSL connection.

The furniture is brand new and includes a leather couch that folds out into a queen-sized bed, and two matching leather chairs. The windows look out onto the street below.

About Paris in Paris, Ile de France

The apartment is in the second arrondissement in the Quartier Montorgueil. This is a pedestrian only quarter that is a template for the future renovation of central Paris when the 1st 4 arrondissements will be free of cars by the year 2012.

When you stay at the apartment on Rue Tiquetonne, you will be just a short walk, metro, bus or taxi ride away from everything Paris has to offer. Les Halles park is 2 blocks away and you arer surrounded by over 70 restaurants and cafes.

How To Get To Paris in Paris, Paris and surrounding area

By air: Most of the clients arrive in Paris via airplane. Two major airports serve Paris: Charles de Gaulle and Orly, which are located on different sides of the city. From either airport, you can reach the apartment by taxi or by using the city's famous metro system; the apartment is within easy walking distance of the metro ( 3 blocks).

By road: Several major autoroutes pass near to Paris, and you can navigate the entire city by car using the Peripherique, the highway that encircles Paris.

By train: High-speed trains (the TGV in France) can connect you with most major European cities; some travel times to other countries are only a few hours long.

Paris is a highly accessible city, yet one could spend a lifetime learning all its wonderful secrets.
