Enjoy a stress free holiday on the beautiful Atlantic Coast of South West France.

The owners, Lara & Martin welcome you at L-m-ents and offer you the chance to get together with friends and family, or come alone and have fun at their Basque style house “Les Chenes” (The Oaks). They have spent many years working in the tourism and leisure industry and although born in England have travelled through out the world. This is reflected in the holiday they offer you, combining their knowledge of what it takes to make a great holiday with their love of international cuisine, providing you with the chance to have a different menu each night.

Les Chenes is a fully refurbished Basque style house, situated in the heart of the traditionally French village of Benesse Maremne. Five minutes by car from the spectacular beaches of Capbreton and Hossegor. The nearest golf course is 5 minutes away and there are many others within 45 minutes.

• Les Chenes has five twin bedrooms all on the first floor, four of which can be made into doubles and two of the rooms can be made into triples. All have en-suite showers and a safe for you to place valuables in.
• There is a spacious living room which looks out onto our beautiful garden and terrace, with large comfortable sofas and chairs. There are also satellite channels for you to enjoy in the house.
• The dining room has a magnificent old fireplace and original wooden floors and the dining room table comfortably seats 12.
• There is also a gym room and the hosts are both trained Sports therapists and Sports masseurs.

Outside:

• The large garden provides an excellent venue for relaxing and is where the barbeque evenings are held.

About the location

Les Chenes is easy to find, being within minutes of the motorway and getting to Bayonne, Biarritz and Bordeaux is quick and simple. The local beaches are considered some of the best in Europe and are kept immaculately clean and constantly groomed, providing excellent opportunities for all water sports, especially surfing. There are annual surf competitions attracting professional surfers from all over as the surf breaks here are considered among the best in the World.
