La Fermette is a traditional French farmhouse situated in the pretty village of Saulchoy in the heart of the Authie Valley, an hour and a quarter south of Calais (45 minutes from Boulogne). It is the perfect place for relaxing and enjoying the peaceful beauty of the countryside whilst being ideally situated for venturing out in all directions to savour and experience the numerous sights and activities the area has to offer.

Saulchoy boasts a Michelin-recommended restaurant, a bar-tabac and a depot de pain / epicerie. It is pleasant to walk through the village to appreciate the beautiful renovation of some of the older properties and to admire the flower beds and balcony displays on the way.

How to get here

From Calais Port take motorway A16 (direction Boulogne).
Exit Junction 25 (Berck).
After peage (toll) turn right at roundabout and up to main road N1.
At N1 roundabout turn right (direction Wailly Beaucamp and Abbeville).
On N1 to Nempont St Firmin.
Immediately on entering Nempont, turn left onto D119.
Through Roussent and Maintenay to Saulchoy.
In Saulchoy turn right in centre of village.
The house is the 3rd on the right - No. 100 (stands back with double gatees and gravelled front courtyard).
