This modern and recently (2007) extended 4 bedroom villa is situated at the end of a long private drive and within it's own established garden. The villa is situated on the edge of the beautiful, traditional, wine producing village of Autignac, one of the seven villages renowned for the Faugeres wine.

Autignac sits in the foothills of the Cevennes. It is a short drive from the village of Magalas, and 15 minutes from the old city of Beziers.

The room offers comfortable seating including double sofa bed, dining table and chairs, stereo system, TV, DVD/VCR, UK satellite and radio stations. There is a selection of CDs, DVDs and videos. French doors from the lounge lead onto the south facing terrace overlooking the pool, garden, and views over the vineyards. French doors from the dining area lead onto the rear garden
• Large, well-equipped kitchen has electric cooker (double oven/ceramic hob), fridge-freezer, full size and slimline dishwashers, wine cooler and microwave.
• Utility room has washing machine. External door leads onto rear garden
• Four bedrooms:
  Bedroom 1 has double bed, TV with UK satellite, DVD and VCR
  Bedroom 2 has double bed, TV, DVD and Hi-FI
  Bedroom 3 has bunk beds and a single bed, TV and VCR
  Bedroom 4 has single bed, TV/DVD and radio-CD player

All bedrooms have ample wardrobe / storage space.

All rooms contain electric wall heaters.

The Gardens:

There is a large garden to the rear and sides of the villa, with tables, chairs and barbecue. To the front of the villa is a large swimming pool – 10m x 5m, and with a constant depth of approximately 1.5. It also boasts an ABRI all weather pool cover, which maintains cleanliness and pool security, whilst also extending the usage by approximately 3 months. There are ample sun-loungers on the surrounding terrace for relaxation, reading and lazing around.

About the location

The villa is situated on the edge of the quiet, wine-making village of Autignac (as mentioned in France Magazine September 2007 issue). The village itself has a Bar, Boulongerie, Pharmacy and Tabac / small general store.

The small town of Magalas is approximately 5 km away. Here you can find the Intermarche supermarket, Tourist Information, bars / restaurants, Cash machine and other small shops.

The historic city of Beziers is a twenty minute drive with the Canal du Midi nearby. Long sandy beaches can be found at Servignan, approximately 35 km, and the seaside resort of Valras Plage, approximately 5km further on

How to get here

Airports at Beziers, Montpellier, Perpignan, Carcassonne and Nimes are all within 90 minutes drive. Apart from Beziers airport, travel  using the A9 autoroute to Beziers, and then the main road to Bedaraux from Beziers. The village is signposted off this road. (NB: flights into Beziers from Stanstead and Bristol only commenced this year - 2008)

Travel by train via Eurostar to Lille and then TGV to Beziers.

Car hire outlets can be found at the airports and all main rail stations.

Self-drive through France, crossing the channel either by ferry, seacat or Shuttle.
