Two Cottages with Large Provencal Garden and Swimming Pool

La Bergerie (2 people) and Le Cabanon (3-4 people), are 2 cottages completely independent, decorated with care and taste, in a large Provencal garden with a fabulous view and pool. A good compromise between the liveliness of the coast and a peaceful mountain retreat. Close shops, restaurants, sports and museums, beaches and ski resorts.

The garden with provencal terraces, is set amidst a natural mediterranean forest (some walks nearby). It is covered with an olive grove, pines, thyme shrubs, oaks, flowering laurels trees.

The pool is surrounded by luxurious mediterranean vegetation.

Holiday Accommodation at La Bergerie

The charming stone cottage called “la Bergerie“, tastefully decorated and furnished, set in the upper part of the property, is fully independent amidst olive-trees and opposite the villages which are beautifully illuminated in the evening.

Ground floor:

  • Living room - half-timbered with a fully open kitchen equipped, dining area and sofa-bed.

First floor:

  • Large double bedroom with fireplace, T.V.
  • A shower room and toilets.

The ground floor opens directly onto the garden with outside dining area and garden furniture.

The first floor opening onto the olive-grove included in the property. At the top end, a small bench allows visitors to gaze at the valley and dream.

About Le Bar Sur Loup in Alpes-Maritimes, Provence - Cote d'Azur

The two cottages are located in the countryside, on the hillside opposite the typical provencal village Le Bar sur Loup, with a landscape of steep hills in the foreground looking the whole hinterland of Cannes.

Le Bar sur Loup is a small charming medieval village on the French Riviera. Built on a rocky outcrop, between Grasse and Vence, Le Bar sur Loup (elevation 320 m - 2500 inhabitants), dominates the middle section of the Loup Valley. It has kept a medieval structure, with its old houses locked against each other in a semi-circular rampart around the feudal castle and the church.

With the fabulous mountain scenery of Provence to the north and the sophistication of the Côte-d'Azur to the south, Chemin de la Chenaie is perfectly located for experiencing all the delights of the south of France. Nearby, there are many picturesque Provencal villages to explore with bustling markets, delicious local produce and tempting restaurants. The beauty of the surrounding area, quality of life and light inspired numerous famous artists, painters and poets.
