Beautiful 18th Century Farmhouse and Cottages with Pool
Our charming holiday cottages are nestled in a country lane, 500 metres from the banks of the Dordogne river.
This secluded 18th century property is set in the beautiful countryside of the Dordogne valley. The picturesque French villages of Meyronne and Saint Sozy are less than 2 kms from our holiday cottages. These villages offer excellent restaurants, a boulangerie, bar and shops.
Our accommodation is both traditionally inspired and beautifully finished and comprises a restored 18th century farmhouse and two charmingly renovated French gites.
Set in peaceful surroundings, all three cottages are detached and are fully equipped for self catering.
Guests of any of our cottages can also enjoy our swimming pool during the summer months.
Laborie is located in the famous Dordogne valley, a beautiful French landscape of rolling hills, cliffs, forests, medieval hill villages and delightful towns and we are only minutes from a multitude of attractions and activities.

Guest Reviews Of The Farmhouse

We have taken many holidays in France over the years and I can say that without any doubt that the Dordogne Valley is our favourite area. Stunning unspoilt scenery, amazing medieval towns and villages with fantastic food and drink, and friendly people. Laborie is well placed for local walks, river-based activities and trips to larger towns and cities by road or rail. The local village (St Sozy) is a treat. The accommodation (we have visited several times) is fantastic whether you are in the barn, the bread oven or the farmhouse. The decor in all three is tasteful but understated. There is privacy if it is required but also the chance to mingle with other guests if you want to (especially around the refurbished pool). Sean and Cecile are exemplary hosts – friendly, helpful and informative about places to visit and eat. They both speak French and English. We cannot recommend it highly enough. A great place to experience an authentic part of France.

We had a wonderful two week summer break in Laborie and had a fantastic time. The place was lovely, typically French and very well appointed. We rented the main house, which is huge and homely and very tastefully decorated. The owners were full of good advice on what to do and see. The close proximity of Laborie to the sites was also a big bonus for us. All in all, great location, great property and a great holiday.
