These two ground and first floor luxury town house Provence style apartments, one above the other,  are approached through private gates and are located immediately adjacent to and overlooking the 5th fairway of the Saumane Golf Course. Each apartment has its own parking space and large fully equipped terrace. These superb apartments share a swimming pool, restaurant and pool bar which themselves have wonderful views over the golf course and the Luberon hills beyond and are ideal for the golfer and non-golfer.

Amenities include tennis courts, a gymnasium, golf(fee), golf practice ground, putting green and professional’s shop.

The mature golf course is located 3km from the picturesque and delightful town of Isle sur la Sorgue in the Vaucluse area of Provence, known as the “Little Venice of Provence”. Famous for being the largest antique centre in France outside Paris, its watermills, restaurants and cafes line the banks of the five waterways which run through the town.

Accommodation detail

Apartment 1 is identical in layout as Apartment 2, with one above the other making them ideal to let as a pair for larger parties. It comprises:

• Kitchenette – fully fitted with integrated appliances, fridge with freezer compartment, 4 halogen ring electric hob, dishwasher, microwave oven, and single drainer sink, coffee maker, electric kettle and toaster. It is fully equipped with crockery, cutlery, glasses for 6 persons, cooking utensils and equipment, cleaning equipment, clothes dryer.
• Bathroom – stylishly tiled bathroom with white sink set in large marble worktop, white bath with wall mounted shower fitting.
• Toilet – white wc with direct access from both lounge and bedroom.
• Lounge – large recessed patio doors opening out on to large tiled terrace; comfortable settee which doubles as a single bed with a further pull out single bed, circular table and chairs for 4 persons, large storage cupboards and cleaning equipment, television and DVD player, coffee table.
• Bedroom – separate bedroom with double doors to lounge; twin matching single beds with right and left handed wrought iron headboards which can be combined to form the equivalent of a double bed, bedside tables and lamps, large wardrobe; direct access to wc and bathroom.

The aparment is heated with fully controllable electric wall panels having both day and night settings.

Outside

Large terrace overlooking 5th fairway complete with terrace furniture: four chairs, large circular table, side table and 2 deck chairs.

Allocated car parking space to front of property.

Long Winter Lets

Long winter lets may be available between 1st November and 31st March for those wishing to enjoy either the benefits of off season Provence or all year round golf in delightful surroundings.

About the location

For the golfer the on-site course is located on a moderately hilly site overlooking the Luberon hills. Designed by Jean Garaialde, it is accessible for players of all levels, and is suitable for lady golfers who can play their round on foot. Featuring a number of dog legs the course requires well placed drives to provide good openings onto the greens while the dish shaped fairways can benefit the most mediocre shot!! There are a good variety of hole lengths enabling players to use their full range of clubs.

The “Canal de Capentras” separates the course in two and provides all the course water which ensures that the course is always in fine condition even in the hottest weather.

The panoramic views which surround the course provides vistas of the forests and chalky slopes of the “Monts de Vaucluse” to the north and east and the Cavaillon plain and Luberon hills to the south.

How to get here

By Air: Provence Country Club is approximately 50 mins. drive from Marseilles airport,1hr 10 mins from Nimes airport and 20mins from Avignon airport.All airports offer low – cost carrier flights from the UK.Ryanair,Flybe,Easyjet,Thomsonfly.
Car hire is available at all airports at reasonable rates.

By Road: From the South – Leave the A7 autoroute at J25.Take the D 973 following signs for Cavaillon continue through the town then follow the D 938 signed Carpentras.
At Isle-sur-la-Sorgue take the D 25 signed Fontaine-de-Vaucluse, Provence Country Club is approximately 3 kms on the left.
From the North – Leave the A7 autoroute at J 24.Take the D 25 signed Caumont-sur- Dorance and continue through the village to Isle-sur-la-Sorgue.Take the D 25 signed Fontaine-de-Vaucluse, Provence Country Club is approximately 3 kms on the left.

By Rail: The TGV station at Avignon is 35 kms by car/taxi ( 20 mins.) from the Provence Country Club. Avignon is approximately 2 hrs. 40 mins. by rail from Paris from which Eurostar offer connections to London and Ashford.
Car hire is available at Avignon TGV station at reasonable rates.

Additional price information

• Booking Deposit: A deposit of 50% is required at the time of booking returnable up to 8 weeks before arrival date.
• Security Deposit: A returnable separate security deposit of £ 200 will be required along with the final payment at 6 least weeks before the date of arrival. 
• Discount: A discount of 5% is available if both apartments are booked by the same party for the same week or a single apartment for two weeks.
• Changeover: Changeover day is normally Saturday but it may be possible to be flexible.
• Golf Green Fees (subject to 20% discount on production of apartment key):
  • Low Season 1st Nov – 31st March, 55 euros/round, ten  rounds 495 euros
  • High Season 1st Apr – 31st Oct, 70 euros/round, ten rounds 630 euros
  • Buggy Hire 15 euros, Club Hire (half set) 15 euros
• Linen Hire : Linen can be provided, on request at a cost of £ 10 per person
• Welcome Pack: A welcome pack comprising – cooking oil, toilet rolls, salt and paper,
  paper kitchen towels, cling film, milk, butter or equivalent, dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, soap, orange juice, jam, tea, coffee and sugar can be provided on request at an additional cost of £ 18.
