This delightful property comprising of large lounge and dining area, fitted kitchen with dishwasher, fridge freezer, oven and hob. Two double bedrooms on first floor and fully fitted bathroom with separate toilet. Staircase leading to ground floor accommodation, comprising of one master bedroom with en-suite and door leading to laundry room.

There are no owners on site and your privacy is assured.  The property is situated on a quiet lane in 1600 sq metres of grounds which is completely surrounded by a high hedge and lockable gate making it completely child friendly and safe. It has its own large playground swing and an above ground large family splash pool in a secluded corner of the garden together with sun beds and umbrellas. Babysitting is available on request.

First Floor

• Lounge - Large lounge furnished with two sofas, dining table and 6 chairs with TV, DVD and CD player. Lounge doors leading onto tiled patio area overlooking the garden.
• Kitchen - Gas oven and hob, microwave, fridge freezer, coffee maker and dishwasher with sufficient cooking and eating utensils for 12 people.
• Bedroom 1 - Double bed with triple wardrobe and 2 bedside cabinets. Shuttered windows overlooking the front garden.
• Bedroom 2 - Two single beds with 4 drawer cabinet. Travel cot is available for a baby. Shuttered windows overlooking front garden.
• Toilet and Bathroom - Separate toilet and bathroom with shower.

Ground floor

• Bedroom 3 - Kingsize bed with double wardrobe and 2 bedside cabinets, with en-suite shower room and toilet.
• Utility room - Washing machine, ironing board and iron. All Bed Linen and towels are provided (please bring your own Pool Towels).

Outside

The grounds have a large swing and bricked in barbeque with a superb brand new, large family above ground splash pool, in its own enclosed private area within the garden. Sun loungers and umbrella are situated in the same area. On the patio there is a unique solid garden table and chairs made from Ox Cart wheels. An additional outdoor picnic type table is situated next to the barbeque and swing. There is ample parking space for cars within the grounds.

About the location

Just a few minutes drive is the ancient village of Beaulieu-les-Loches, which has its own bar, restaurants and local amenities and is just 1km from the centre of Loches. Its parish church is built into the ruins of the Abbaye de la Trinite, a Benedictine abbey church built to house the bones of Foulque Nerra, the dreaded count of Anjou who also established the keep at Loches. A twelfth century belfry still towers over the ruins of the Romanesque nave, which was damaged by fire in the fourteenth and fifteenth centuries. The medieval town of Loches is 10 minutes drive and has a lively twice weekly market featuring local produce and wines. Its walled citadel is by far the most impressive of the Loire valley fortresses.
