Set amid the vines and recently renovated throughout, Vine Cottage (2 bedrooms) and Rose Cottage (1 bedroom) can be booked individually or combined into a large 3 bedroom house. They are perfectly situated for exploring the Dordogne or Bordeaux and coast but only 8 kms from the medieval wine city of St. Emilion. 

Architecturally designed within an ancient winemaking barn to provide superb facilities and yet retain the charm of their original beams and stonework. The cottages share a heated and alarmed pool but have their own private terrace or garden and are surrounded by picturesque countryside, beautiful villages and churches.

Shared Pool (4m x 6m) has internal steps and is heated (out of season) and alarmed for child security. The pool terrace with sun lounges etc is the setting for the owners collection of Balinese and other eastern statues which are lit at night.

Accommodates four people (plus cot). The accommodation comprises:

• Modern kitchen and well-furnished open plan living area lead out onto a private terrace and gazebo set in its own small private garden.
• The modern bathroom includes bath and an open access shower.
• Double bedroom
• Twin bedroom

Traditional tiled floors and golden exposed stone work which contrast with the modern fittings and classic furniture. 

Facilities include sofa, interior and exterior dining tables/chairs, barbeque, central heating and fans.  

Equipment includes colour TV with DVD players and satellite receiver, Hi Fi, Free WI-Fi Internet access, dishwasher, washing machine, cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer iron, hair dryer with baby cot and high chair available.

Bikes can be borrowed for free.

About the location

Puisseguin, the local village has a chemist, boulangerie, boucherie and supermarche and is only two minutes away. The bar-restaurant in Lusac is only five minutes away. The surrounding countryside consists of Saint Emilion vines, picturesque wine chateaux and beautiful villages and churches. The medieval masterpiece of Saint Emilion's ancient square is surrounded by cafes and restaurants.

Castillion la Bataille - Historic town situated on the banks of the Dordogne with a street market every Monday morning.

Villefranche-de-Lonchat - A pretty man made beach complex 15kms away.
