Dining room with large table seating 12+ and highchair. Telephone for local and incoming calls.  

Kitchen with wall oven, cooker, dishwasher, two fridges and microwave.

Bedroom 6 Single bed with separate WC, shower and wash-basin.

Staircase with safety gate leading to upper floor.  

Upper Floor

Bedroom 1 - King Size Bed & Single bed with WC, shower and wash basin.

Bedroom 2 - Double bed, with single bed in adjoining area, WC, shower and wash-basin. 

Bedroom 3 - Two single beds, one in each adjoining area, WC, shower and wash-basin.

Lower Ground Floor

Bedroom 4 - King Size Bed, WC, shower and wash-basin; door to exterior and parking. 

Bedroom 5 - Double bed, bathroom with WC, bath, shower and wash-basin.

All rooms are equipped with electric heaters, electric fans and fly-screens. Cot and highchair available.

Outside/Garden

Rear covered terrace with large table for 12+, front covered terrace, swimming pool, barbecue, parking - 3 cars, garage, lawns with table tennis and badminton, washing machine.

Swimming Pool: 10m x 5m, depth 1.1m to 2m (exclusive use).

About the location

La Sagesse is located in the beautiful Lot Valley, a mere 15 minutes drive from the cathedral City of Cahors. Brouelles, with superb views of oak and walnut laden hills, is a hamlet of natural, idyllic beauty.  The surrounding area is a delight in all seasons and offers you a variety of country walks and cycling.  The hills are home to a variety of fauna, including deer, woodpeckers, kites and butterflies. Summers are deliciously warm and any season is perfect for exploring fascinating sites in and around the Lot and Dordogne.

The region abounds in medieval towns and villages.  Many are built into the rock faces of cliffs that overlook the majestic River Lot.  Other opportunities for sightseeing include chateaux, fortified towns and scenic trekking routes.   Throughout the summer there are fetes close by of every description, from horse fairs to garlic fairs and wine markets to bric-a-brac.

How to get here

Exit the A20 motorway at Cahors Nord and take the N20 towards Cahors. At ST PIERRE-LAFEUILLE, turn right, signposted MAXOU D47. Follow narrow windy road downhill for 2km. Pass through Maxou, continue 1km and take the FIRST RIGHT signposted BROUELLES. Continue for 2km. 

FROM THE WEST take D13 to ST DENIS CATUS and then the D127 to GIGOUZAC. TURN RIGHT (large BROUELLES sign is on the wall). A long windy road leads direct into BROUELLES.
