Large Stone Farmhouse with Private Pool

Our 300 year old stone farmhouse in Northern Provence is situated in a tranquil valley surrounded by vineyards, lavender and sunflowers. It forms the major part of the original Mas (farm) and is a spacious and homely versatile house which accommodates 8 plus.

There is also a large stone barn (grange) which provides a further eating, sleeping and playing area. It would be suitable for two families. There is a large sunlit private courtyard with the exclusive use of the swimming pool and barbeque area with plenty of space for sunbathing and outdoor games.

About Verfeuil in Gard, Languedoc Roussillon

The area is very tranquil and still unspoilt. The village of Verfeuil is within walking distance and has a boulangerie and small restaurant.

The pretty village of Goudarges is a 10 minute drive away and is well stocked with cafes, shops, restaurants and facilities. It has a river running through the centre and is busy with people dining alfresco throughout the summer season. It also has a lively market once a week.

There is swimming in the River Ceze and the sea is only one hour away.

Uzes and Avignon are easily accessible (20 minutes and 40 minutes respectively). Also the Ardeche Gorge is 40 minutes away and is stunningly beautiful and fun if canoeing down the river. The famous Pont du Gard is within an easy drive away and the Camargue and Arles can be well explored in a day.

Airports – Nimes (50km), Marseilles (125km), Montpellier (75km).

Train - the TGV now goes to Avignon (40 mins by car away).
