A quaint, semi-detached stone cottage situated on a quiet lane only 3kms from the small town of Melrand, where you have 2 restaurants, boulangerie, general store, butchers and several bars.

 

Accommodation detail

Ti Glycine, which sleeps 4, is next door to our other stone cottage Ti Rose.

The accommodation consists of:

Gas central heating and duvets and pillows provided. Use of the washing machine

Outside:

'Ti Rose' and 'Ti Glycine' do not share the garden and both have their own parking area.

About the location

There is a large man-made lake on the outskirts of Melrand that offers boat/pedlao hire, picnic area, playground and a footpath that takes you up into the hills and woods around the town. Just down the lane from the cottage is an Archaeological Farm and, during the Summer, you can join in one of the many music and dance festivals at the churches or in the town.

Baud is 14 kms away and has a swimming pool, good restaurants, bars and supermarkets. Pontivy, 19kms, is a large historic town with a chateau and river Blavet, has a market day, many shops, supermarkets, restaurants and 2 swimming pools.

The coast is a 35 minute drive and the towns of Auray, Vannes and Carnac are all within easy reach for a good day out. This area is good for fishing, walking and cycling as it is so quiet.
