The house is in a small hamlet near to Aigurande in the north of the Creuse. Shops, restaurants, supermarkets (one is open 7/7) can all be found here, about 10 mins drive away.

Detached in a very quiet hamlet of about 6 houses, mostly French second homes.

Ground floor:

• Lounge/diner - with TV/ video
• Fully equipped corner kitchen - with gas cooker, microwave, fridge, all utensils.
• Bathroom - with bath, shower, washing machine; separate toilet.

Central heating (gas boiler).

First floor:

• Bedroom 1 - with 1 double + 1 single
• Bedroom 2 - with 1 double.

All bedding included.

Outside:

• Garden: Lawn, hedge, scenic views, furniture and barbecue.

• Creuse Valley and Lake Chambon - 20 mins - 312 hectares, walking, cycling, sailing, beaches, swimming, fishing, water skiing, etc.
• Argenton, market town – 30 mins - remains of Roman city and museum.
• La Brenne national park - 30 mins - the land of 1000 lakes.
• La Souterraine – 25 mins - medieval market town.
• Chateauroux – 30 mins
• Limoges – 75 mins, cities of interest and history.

Nearest airports are Limoges (nearest) or Poitiers where you can make your own arrangements to hire a car. Approximately 6 hours from Channel Ports
