Maison Candeban is a beautifully renovated Landes style, four bedrooms Farmhouse. It is situated in secluded, idyllic location, surrounded by an abundance of wildlife. 45 minutes from Pau airport, situated equi distance from the beautiful sandy beaches of the Atlantic coast and the majestic Pyrenees Mountains, the Farmhouse sits at the start of the rolling hills of the Chalousse near the banks of L’Ardour.

Accommodation detail

This beautifully restored farmhouse has an open planned lounge and dining room which leads into a modern kitchen. The lounge boasts a beautiful open fireplace which compliments the central heating.

The Mezzanine floor allows for  hign ceilings that show the beautilful stonework on the walls.

French doors lead out to 2 acres of mature garden and offer views of grazing deer and the surrounding countryside.

The large terraced swimming pool area provides a wonderful area for spending the days.There are plenty of sun loungers & seating with plenty of shade available if required. There are tables under the shady pergola to allow dining 'al fresco'.

The 'child friendly' salt-water pool is so very gentle on the skin & eyes (no harmful chorine). It's 8.2m x 4.2m. Roman steps in the shallow end 1.06m deep gently sloping down to 1.6m. The pool is automatically alarmed and close to the house. There are plenty of inflatable toys and pools games to keep you occupied.

There are two adult bikes and plenty of public walking trail & bridle path signs posted around the village leading through the beautiful countryside, woods and lakes.

About the location

Historic towns of St Sever, Pau, Dax, Lourdes and Bordeaux and a short drive away. Village markets provide delicious local produce and an abundance of cafes and restaurants will enable you to sample gastronomic delights of the region.
