Cabanon Chadwick was once a shepherds cabin and has recently been renovated and extended in traditional provencal style. It is set amongst the olive trees on the hillside five minutes from the market village of La Garde Freinet and 15 km from the Bay of St Tropez.

Cabanon Chadwick is well appointed with spectacular views and has three bedrooms which can comfortably sleep six.

On the ground floor there is a cloakroom and an open plan kitchen, dining area leading into a spacious living room which all open out on to the terraces.

The interior is well furnished with a fully equipped kitchen with gas cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine, 2 sofas in the sitting room with Sky TV and DVD player and there is also a large table out on the terrace for dining in the shade or sun.

The terrace overlooks the pool and private grounds where there is a boules pit.

Upstairs there is a master double bedroom with en suite bathroom plus two twin bedded rooms and a further bathroom.

High chair and travel cot are available.

About the location

La Garde Freinet is a medieval village in the centre of the Massif des Maures. Picturesque roads winding through forests of cork oaks and chestnut groves reach the village where restaurants and shops surround the main square. We enjoy nothing more than a walk into the village in the morning to collect the freshly baked bread and croissants and browse around the market on a Wednesday and Sunday.

How to get here

By ferry/car: There are always those adventurous souls who take an over night ferry to Le Havre and arrive in the South of France within a day. We would suggest however, that if you want to drive, a morning crossing to Calais taking the motorway via Reims and having a one-night stop (in Burgundy) makes for an easy journey.

By air: La Garde Freinet is approximately 1 ½ hour’s drive from both Marseille and Nice airports and 45minutes from Toulon airport.

By train: The nearest rail links are St. Raphael and Les Arcs.

We would recommend that you have a car.
