The cosy cottage, perfect for honeymooners and anniversary celebrations, is amongst the outbuildings of an old Gascon farmhouse and whilst recently modernised and equipped with all new fixtures and fittings, it still retains all its old world charm and atmosphere. The full sized pool and garden are completely private with its own driveway, and not overlooked in any way.  It also includes a jacuzzi spa and sauna cabin for your exclusive use.

The cottage is perfect for honeymooners / anniversary celebrations etc.

Situated amongst orchards and sunflower fields it is a haven of peace and tranquility and is guaranteed to make you relax and enjoy.

Nearby are lovely old villages, hilltop bastides, the River Lot and River Garonne are very close.

It is convenient for larger towns of Agen, Villeneuve and Marmande - also easy to reach the Atlantic coast, Pyrenees and the Mediterranean.

The cottage, amongst the outbuildings of an old Gascon farmhouse overlooks a lovely poplar plantation and plum orchard, super for peaceful walks.

About Bourran in Lot-et-Garonne, Aquitaine

The cottage is situated in a sleepy hamlet at the foot of the hills alongside the Lot valley. The Lot river is only a couple of kilometres away at the medieval and attractive village of Clairac. It is a rural area with fields of maize and sunflowers everywhere and is well known for miles of fruit orchards

The Atlantic coast is within a couple of hours drive and the Mediterranean is about 3 hours. The Pyrenees are about 2 hours drive.

The area is famous for its Bastide hilltop villages, many of which have a weekly evening market with music and entertainment and delicious local food and wines.

Clairac has two high quality restaurants as well as a pizzeria and excellent creperie. The larger towns of Agen, Marmande and Villeneuve - all about 20 mins drive - have many restaurant choices of all types, as well as all the larger shops and department stores

How To Get To Bourran in Lot-et-Garonne, South West France

We are about equally distanced between Bergerac (with economic Ryanair, Flybe etc flights), Bordeaux and Toulouse airports.

For drivers there is the A.62 motorway (about 15 mins away) from Bordeaux / Toulouse  and the A20 motorway down from Paris via Limoges / Brive towards Perigueux / Bergerac (about 50 mins away).

The TGV super fast railway goes nearby from Bordeaux to Toulouse via Tonneins - our local station (about 15 mins away)
