About the location

The picturesque 17th century town of Honfleur is the eighth most visited site in France, coming after St. Tropez. Thousands of visitors are drawn every year to the Old Port, surrounded by tall, narrow houses, nearby St. Catherine's church made of wood, and the quaint narrow roads with over 100 art galleries and craft shops and almost as many restaurants. A small fleet of fishing boats which leave the port every night. passing through the lock and under the Normandy bridge to reach the open sea.  A walk along the canal to the lock, or a stroll through the flowered park is a necessity, as is a visit to the "Personality Park" which features those famous men and women who have had a connection with Honfleur and its region in the past and which connects the centre of Honfleur with the local beach. A visit to the town of Honfleur is a visit to days gone by.
