Le Parc, a superbly renovated  single storey Landaise house nestles among mature trees and garden at the end of a 400m lane. Its position offers superb privacy and has access to a 100 metres footpath walk to the banks of the river Adour.

The house offers a superb combination of totally private sunny pool area together with a shaded courtyard and orchard. The accommodation provides for a relaxing and extremely comfortable holiday.

A sympathetically restored traditional single storey Landaise farmhouse set within over an acre of gardens and orchard.

Park your car in the shaded courtyard and enter through the:

• Conservatory - into the beamed salon. Comfortably furnished with sofas and large farmhouse table centred on the huge traditional fireplace. Leading from this room you have -
• Double bedroom one - and ensuite shower room in traditional style.
• Kitchen -  from the salon you enter the large fully equipped and modern american style kitchen area which has a view through the french doors of the south and west facing pool and terrace. The kitchen has been equipped with the latest facilities: dishwasher, microwave, oven, ceramic hob, fridgefreezer and is completed with other essential items such as coffee maker, toaster and kettle.
• Double bedroom two - again in traditional style, has access to a modern bath and shower room.
• Utility area - where you will find along with the washing machine a second dishwasher, microwave and fridge.

Outside:

The large terraced  pool area of a 100sq metres is also supplemented by an open shaded eating area together with an outside shower and ample tables, chairs, sun loungers and parasols.

For the evening the garden and pool may be floodlit.

For the pool there are also various inflatable and toys to while away the time.

A barbecue is also available.

There are darts, croquet and boules together with a selection of indoor games and an extensive range of books both fiction and reference.

About the location

Le Parc is situated some 8 kilometres between the village of Montgaillard and the historic and beautiful medieval town of St Sever on the borders of the Chalosse to the south and the Landes to the north. Enjoy a shady, walk of 100metres along a private  footpath to the banks of the river Adour.

The historic town of St Sever, with 2 supermarkets on the outskirts, offers superb local fayre and numerous cafes and restaurants.

The two most local markets are in St Sever and neighbouring Grenade sur l'Adour.

Within minutes from Le Parc you can immerse yourself in this unspoilt countryside, discovering as you go  numerous ancient villages and scenes.

Mont de Marsan is 15 minutes away and famous Pau is one hour distant. The superb sandy beaches of the atlantic coast await you: Biarritz, St Jean De Luz, Arcachon or lesser undiscovered beaches may be found amongst the pine forests and dunes.

Spain is only 2 hours away as are the Pyrenees and the city of Bordeaux.

Dax the Roman spa town with superb shopping centre is within 1 hour.

How to get here

• Airports: convienient for Le Parc include Bordeaux 2hrs: Pau 1 hour: Biarritz : 1hour: Bergerac 2 hours: Toulouse 2.5 hours:
• Ferries: Numerous channel ferrries which enable you to sample France during the  8- 10 hour drive south . You may also consider Plymouth to Santander which is 3 hours west from Le Parc or Portsmouth to Bilbao which is 2.5 hours drive and enjoy a little Spanish culture before your arrival.
• Road: directions will be given  but most visitors travelling from the UK by road would use the A10 south from Tours before turning east south of Bordeaux.
