Detached stone cottage for 4 in a small hilltop farming hamlet, rural yet only 10 minutes from the bustling french market town of Ruffec.

(all with tiled floors) 

  • Large kitchen/diner with a radio/CD/Tape player. Fully equipped modern kitchen facilities with dining table and chairs.
  • Spacious Living room with 3 seater sofa and comfy chair as well as English TV and Wood burner, as well as a DVD player.
  • Through the living room, a door opens onto the private Terrace with table and chairs for 4 with parasol and barbecue, and a couple of sun loungers.

Garden

Large lawned gardens for playing or just sitting and relaxing right outside the door. Plenty of parking for several vehicles on site.

Situated in a small hilltop farming hamlet (8 houses), rural and quiet.

Nearest bar/restaurant 2 miles, nearest town, Ruffec with restaurants, supermarkets etc and a twice weekly market 4 miles.

Within an hours drive: Futuroscope at Poitiers, Distilleries at Cognac, Limoges, Saintes, Angoulême, Poitiers

Within 2 hours drive: The coast at La Rochelle, vineyard tours of Bordeaux.

How To Get To St Martin Du Clocher in Charente, South West France

Bernac is near the market town of Ruffec which is 5 minutes off the N10, about halfway between Poitiers and Angoulême. Railway station at Ruffec, nearby airports Poitiers (40mins), Limoges (1hr), La Rochelle (1hr30), Bordeaux (2hrs).
