La Petite Maison is a delightful, well equipped cottage set in two acres of beautiful garden. Here you will find a haven of peace and tranquility, where you can relax and unwind. Even the local deer herd sometimes honour us with a visit. Our winding country lanes will take you past a tiny hamlet and then on to small, typical French villages.
The bustling market town of La Haye du Puits is only a few minutes drive away, with its fantastic atmosphere and colourful market on Wednesdays.
For cycling enthusiasts there are over 200kms of cycleways in the area.
This is a perfect location if you are a D-Day landings enthusiast, being a short drive away from beaches, cemetries, air museums, St-Mere-Eglise (whereit all began) and much more.

La Petite Maison is a newly refurbished, immaculate country cottage set in two acres of beautiful garden.
Ground floor

- Kitchen is well equipped with full size gas cooker, microwave, fridge-freezer and washing machine.

- One twin bedroom
Lovely garden views from every window in this cottage.
Upstairs
- Mezzanine with a quiet sitting area. Here, you can read one of the many books that we supply or listen to music as here, there is a Hi-Fi system. This area has also a dressing room.
- Double bedroom is lovely and spacious with lots of storage space for your suitcases, etc.
About the location
La Petite Maison is a lovely cottage in the country is situated only 45 minutes drive from the port of Cherbourg and is very easy to find (precise directions will be sent). The nearest town, La Haye Du Puits, is a bustling market town with numerous shops, bars, restaurants and good sized supermarkets. Market day is Wednesday. It also has banks and a fine church, which is always decorated with flowers, both inside and outside. The nearby beaches are vast and quiet, with excellent water quality.

How to get here
By air: The nearest airport at Cherbourg operates from May until the end of September.
By sea: Ferry crossings operate from Poole and Porsmouth to Cherbourg all year round from one or the other, both in summer.
By rail: The nearest railway station is Carentan, 15 minutes drive from here, this connects to Paris.
