About the location
Clubhouse Gites are situated in the beautiful Course Valley just 10 minutes north of the fortified town of Montreuil and 20 minutes inland from the bustling seaside resort of Le Touquet and many other sandy beaches. Relax and unwind in the beautiful and peaceful countryside. The local bar/restaurant is a 5 minute stroll and there are several other restaurants within a few minutes drive.
Montreuil has spectacular views from it's ramparts and Victor Hugo stayed here in 1867 and based some of his characters he met in the town for Les Miserables! The world famous Beussent Chocolate Factory is in the village - you have been warned!! There are numerous farmers markets and brocantes (flea markets) throughtout the region at all times of year.

We are only 40 to 45 minutes south of the Calais ports and train terminal and only 20 to 25 minutes south of Boulogne and it's port. The A16 and N1 autoroutes are closeby.
