A beautiful spacious cottage situated in the heart of Normandy and the Valley De La See. With breathtaking panoramic views your cares and worries will melt away as you immediately unwind.

The cottage sleeps 7 comfortably with all mod cons for your comfort.

A south facing aspect guarantees the finest of Normandy weather and a 30' x 15' above ground solar heated pool lies beyond the garden for your use. A raised patio area provides security for parents to watch over their children.

This spacious cottage comprises of 3 ample sized bedrooms which sleeps 7 comfortably.

The property has been lovingly restored and is furnished with a mix of French antiques and modern day comforts.

There is a large enclosed garden to the rear which is currently undergoing a transformation to include a 30' x 15' above ground pool.

About the location

La Belle Petite Maison is in the Manche area that follows the coast from Cherbourg down to Mont St Michel, 'The Normandy Peninsula'. Our situation makes it accesible for the other departments to be reached in reasonable time and if you fancy a different feel altogether then pop over to Brittany for the day, again, accesible in 30 minutes drive.

The gastronomic delights are only part of this great area but whilst you are here you must sample some locally brewed Calvados, Pear Cider, Cheese, Foie Gras, Biscuits, Caramels, Cured Meats and of course the Moules et Frites and Wines.

As well as its History and Food, Normandy is renowned for its race horses and breeding.

Normandy has many long straight roads perfect for motorcycles, as Garry is a biker himself he can always point you in the right direction for an excellent ride out. It is a very popular pastime over here.

La Belle Petite Maison is located in Brouains just outside of Sourdeval in Normandy, France.

Brouains is a beautiful and peaceful village. As there is not a shop in the village itself the local boulangerie delivers fresh baguettes and pastries three times a week and a local fish monger comes on a Thurday morning in his mobile shop.

Sourdeval is situated only 3 km from Brouains and has everything you need to ensure a comfortable stay. There is a small supermarket, free tennis courts, many bars, an English bar, a pizzeria, a hotel restaurant, a local taxi service, a weekly market a take away kebab van on a Saturday night and take away Paella van on a Friday night! There are numerous markets held nearby. The Moulin De La See is situated 5 minutes away from the cottage and is a museum and restaurant.

The cottage itself is south facing and set in stunning countryside in the heart of The Valley De La See with amazing panoramic views. Although there is so much to see and do in the area if it is a truely relaxing holiday you want, just sit back in the garden and enjoy the beautiful scenery whilst sipping an aperitif!

We are currently landscaping the land beyond the garden to hold an above ground 10m x 5m swimming pool with solar heating and patio/pergola area which guests will have full use of.
