Chateau  de Corrige offers you the French holiday to remember, our fabulous and stunning setting is one of the many things you will remember about your fabulous time spent in this Chateau. Imagine sipping your glass of wine gazing out over acres of undulating and peaceful countryside. Lulled to sleep at night by the comforting sounds of the countryside. We offer all of this and a welcome and hospitality second to none, whether for an overnight stay on your way , or for a holiday we can guarantee you a truly great time. We offer a peaceful and relaxing holiday for all of those seeking a refugee from the hurly burly of modern life, it is here you can relax and recharge yourself, peace and tranqulity abounds.

We are also pleased to announce the opening of our new restaurant Corriges, where you can select a range of quality dishes to suit your appetite and tastes.

If you feel like expending some energy, take a walk around the  privately owned fishing lake and throught the woods, we have a stunning area that abouds in wildlife and beauty. Make sure to bring those binoculars.

Our tennis court will give you hours of fun and we have a hill waiting to be named after the next greatest player to grace the court.

Cycle tracks and walking paths criss cross the countryside and  we are able to cater for ramblers and walkers alike.

Our lake is currently being re stocked and according to Craig our  expert friendly fisher man  our carp are the prettiest fish he has ever seen, watch this space for 20lb/30lb carp.

The Chambre du Jardin is a large en-suite double room furnished with French antique furniture all bed linen and towels are of the highest quality. The bathroom has shower, basin, bidet and toilet.

The room has fabulous views overlooking our private lake, forest and gardens. The room is on a bed and breakfast basis and daily and weekly rates are available. Extra beds are available in the roo on request.

About the location

Corrige is set in  truly outstanding countryside, where you are enveloped in the beauty of the Limousin flora and fauna. The Chateau is situated on the top of a small rise, commanding stunning views across many acres of undulating and picturesque lands a place where you can relax and totally unwind.

We are only 15 minutes from Limoges International Airport and 10 minutes from Bellac where there are markets selling local produce and there is a full range of local supermarkets.

The city of Limoges which is steeped in history is located only 25 minutes from the Chateau. There are local restaurants and reservations can be made for you, we also offer two and three course meals in our restaurant.

The city of Poitiers is located only an hour away and this is where you can find the fabulous Futuroscope an exciting adventure for all ages. Futuroscope lets you enjoy new excitement that will amaze you, play on your senses and Involve you in the action, as you escape into new worlds of fun, live in the future today and see this world in a new light.

A few kilometers away is the fantastic Lac St Pardoux, where man made beaches and watersports combines to give a great day out. There are lifeguards in attendance and a small kiosk for ices and drinks, all set against a backdrop of pine forests.

We are also close to the living monument to those who perished at Oradour sur Glane. This memorial is open daily.....

Golf can be found at many sites in the Limousin, the closest being at Limoges. Horse riding, cycling, rambling are all on offer in the close vicinity to the Chateau.

How to get here

Corrige is easily reached, from the International Airport, take the N147 in the direction of Bellac / Poitiers, we are located after the village of Chamboret. Traveling from the ports head for Le Mans, Tours and Poitiers, the N147 takes you towards Limoges, we are located after the town of Bellac.

There is a local station at nearby Nantiat and also the main station at Limoges.

Pick up from the airport and rail stations can be arranged.
