A charming little house, a five minutes walk away from Villeneuve Les Avignon centre, just across the bridge from Avignon, right in the heart of Provence.

Very easy to get to as there are now regular daily flights from all over Britain and even direct trains from London. If you prefer a ferry you can travel from Portsmouth to Le Havre and connect with a direct TGV  to  Avignon arriving  in just over 5 hours, eventually using a hire car for a few days if needed.

Locally you have an abundance of restaurants within walking distance, taking away the need to use a car all the time.

La Jeune Parque is a charming little house with garden, tucked away in a quiet residential area of Villeneuve les Avignon. Perfect for a couple or small family.

About the location

La Jeune Parque is located in a quiet residential area of Villeneuve Les Avignon. This ancient fortress village is an attractive and peaceful haven just across the river from Avignon, centrally located to enjoy a holiday in Provence.

The village centre is a five min walk, very convenient for hot croissants and crispy baguettes for breakfast. The village square hosts all shops including a little supermarket, two excellent butchers, an epicerie, newsagent and post office, a great variety of restaurants from a delicious inexpensive 'plat de jour' on the shaded cafe terrace, to elegant dining at the Prieure the ancient Priory of Villeneuve. There is an open air Provençal market on Thursday morning, where you can buy all fresh fruit and vegetables, cheese olive oil etc. There is an organic market Saturday morning.

La Jeune Parque is close to Avignon and the popes palace with wonderful shops and restaurants. A close bus stop makes a ride into Avignon from Villeneuve quick and easy, or a park and ride just on the outskirts of Avignon. There is a large choice of beaches in the area, some within an hours drive from the house.
