Come and discover the beauty of a private 35 acre rural domain, situated in the heart of the Perigord. Composed of two independant homes,  with Private Heated Pool & Spa. Each home has it's own private lane and parking. 

There is no vis-a-vis between the homes, each home is totally independent.

This 18th century property sleeps up to 12 and is composed of 2 independant homes: the Cottage (6) and the Barn (6). Both homes are surrounded by private land and each home has a 4 acre private park. We take your privacy seriously.

A real park for your family to play and relax in and lots of peace and quiet. Surrounded by nature and near all the main attractions.

We are situated to the north of the Perigord Noir, the heart of the Dordogne and Vezere vallies. This is a secluded rural location situated 8 km from Vergt, 15km from Le Bugue with their numerous tourist attractions, weekly markets and selection of supermarkets.

Holiday Accommodation at Cottage and Barn

Two homes for a total of 300sq.m with Private Heated Pool and Spa for 6. The 18th century Cottage (200sq.m) and a converted Barn (150sq.m) have been renovated by the owners following the best of the French tradition.

The Cottage sleeps 6 and also the Barn sleeps 6 and each have en-suite facilities and large living areas. The property is surrounded by a 10 acre park with mature trees for shade. The Cottage and Barn have a private heated pool and jacuzzi-spa surrounded by stepped decks with beautiful exotic plants and view on the surrounding nature. There is no vis-a-vis what so ever.

The Barn has a luminous open space with 2 big sliding doors that look east and west. To the east there is a large 60sq.m - 650sq.f terrace with view over the private park. On the ground floor there are 2 en-suite bedrooms and upstairs there is a master bedroom 40sq.m - 430qs.f with bedroom, bathroom, study(double bed) and dressing wardrobe. The Kichen surrounds you while you cook so everything is always nearby. There is a bbq outside. The living room has a 50" plasma TV.

The Cottage has seperate living room, dinning room and kitchen. The dining room has glass doors that look south and north. South you have a shaded terrace and private courtyard that extends onto the private park. The Cottage kitchen also is seperated from the dinning room and has direct access to the covered terrace. Just outside is the bbq. The Living room has a 42" plasma TV and has direct access to the heated pool. The master en-suite is on the ground floor.

About Cendrieux in Dordogne, Aquitaine

Although isolated on a plateau, it is only 5 to 10 minutes away from local towns with all facilities: supermarket, post office, bar tabac, chemist, etc.

A few kilometres around the house you will find major touristic attractions: Sarlat, Dordogne river, Vezere river, Bergerac, Le Bugue, Les Eyzies. Bordeaux and the Atlantic coast is only 1 hour and a half away.

How To Get To Cendrieux in Dordogne, South West France

It is an easy journey from the UK whether by car or plane. We are approximately 350 miles from St Malo and 500 miles from Calais and Boulogne. Both are easy journeys using the excellent French motorway network.

Should you wish to fly and hire a car (yes you will need car to get here and also to make the most of this wonderful area), we are situated just 40 minutes from Bergerac airport, and under 2 hours from Bordeaux, via the excellent new motorway.
