Home description

La Rue Vaslin consists of a lovely arrangement of three individual and immaculately presented one bedroom gites - each one being beautifully furnished and extremely well appointed offering "first class" accommodation.  Set in the peace and tranquility of the Loire Valley, each has the benefit of its own private garden as well as the use of a large communal garden and a superb 12 x 6m pool (heated in the cooler months) with south facing sun terrace.

Within easy access to the many vineyards and glorious chateaux for which the region is famed, our luxury gites provide an ideal retreat for couples wanting a relaxing holiday while exploring this glorious and historic region of France.

L'Ecurie is the old stable house, a superbly furnished gite. It is an immaculately presented ground floor one bedroom gite which benefits from a dual aspect, having access from the front and rear of the property.

• Living room - newly furnished, with UK Satellite TV (flat screen LCD television) DVD/CD
• Kitchen - very well equipped and featuring a lovely dining area
• Double bedroom - black iron bed and large wardrobe with the room looking out onto a private garden area
• Sofa Bed - a double sofa bed in the living room is suitable for sleeping a further two guests.
• Shower room with WC

Outside

Located about 2km from shops and restaurants, L'Ecurie enjoys a tranquil setting and has the benefit of its own private garden as well as the use of large communal grounds and a wonderful heated 12 x 6m swimming pool with fabulous sun terrace. 

Bikes, Table Tennis, boules and a selection of games and books are available for guests' use.

About the location

Our gites at La Rue Vaslin border the popular and sought after regions of Maine et Loire and Indre Loire being right in the very heart of the Loire Valley where UNESCO claimed it as a world heritage region of 'outstanding beauty'.

Situated 2km between the villages of Parcay les Pins and Gizeaux our gites are an easy 10 minute cycle ride, or 30 minute walk by road, 20 minute via woodland route, to local bars, restaurants and village shops. 

The fashionable town of Saumur on banks of the river Loire is just 35km away where fabulous restaurants, bars, shopping,  wine caves, the famous Cadre Noire and equestrian centre, and of the course the beautiful and imposing chateaux, give reason as to why this historic town is so popular.

Set in an idyllic and tranquil setting, our gites are ideally located to visit the many popular chateaux and vineyards for which the region is famed and are within easy access of many delightful French villages and thriving market towns.
