La Maison Vaslin is a beautiful and immaculately presented house which provides excellent accommodation for up to six people.  Situated in the heart of the Loire Valley, being close to the fashionable riverside chateaux towns of Saumur and Chinon, Maison Vaslin is extremely well equipped for families and couples. Located at La Rue Vaslin, Maison Vaslin benefits from its own private access and fully enclosed garden, as well as the use of the a lovely 11 x 5m pool, communal gardens, and games barn. Traditional shops and restaurants 2km. Bikes included.

Maison Vaslin is part of a lovely arrangement of immaculate gites at La Rue Vaslin, which additionally offers just three individual one-bedroom gites, each with their own private gardens enabling an excellent degree of privacy. The master house, Maison Vaslin can comfortably sleep six people offering two large king size bedrooms and a spacious twin room.  It can also be taken with its interconnecting gite, L'Ecurie, to provide accommodation for up to 10 people.

La Maison Vaslin is one half of a beautifully renovated twin longere. Internally, the house is extremely well furnished and equipped offering spacious accommodation. It is immaculately presented, being ideal for for couples or families, offering:

• Lounge - a large room with a wood burning stove making Maison Vaslin as appealing in the cooler months as it is in the hot and glorious French summers
• Master bedroom - fabulous king size bed and stunning views over open countryside. 
• En-suite Shower - to the master bedroom. 
• King Size Bedroom - with king sleigh bed and large wardrobes.
• Bathroom - conveniently located next to the King Size bedroom with bathroom, shower over bath, WC.
• Twin bedroom - with lovely sleigh beds and wardrobes.

Outside

Part of a small and exclusive gite arrangement, La Maison Vaslin enjoys a private garden and has the use of communal grounds, a 12 x 6m pool with a large sun terrace, and a games barn which includes table tennis, darts, snooker/pool table, basket ball and boules.  Bikes are also included for guests' use. 

 

About the location

Maison Vaslin is situated in the heart of the Loire Valley where the popular regions of Maine et Loire and Indre Loire meet.  A UNESCO world heritage area of 'outstanding beauty' Maison Vaslin is set in stunning countryside yet is only 2km from the nearest villages with the fashionable town of Saumur on the river Loire just 35km.

The nearest shops and restaurants are in Gizeaux and Parcay les Pins with the bustling market towns of Noyant and Bourgeil just 10 minutes away.

The vineyards of Bourgeil, St. Nicholas and Saumur are all within 5 minutes from the property, with the many chateaux and sights for which the region is famed within easy reach.

• Maison Vaslin is a pleasant 5 hour drive from Calais. 
• Tours is the nearest airport which is a 40 minute drive. 
• Paris is 3 hours by car and just over 1 hour by train.

Our availability calendar is defaulted to show full availability because we may be able to offer alternative properties should Maison Vaslin be booked for the dates you are interested. We encourage enquirers to contact us directly by email or phone and on receiving an enquiry between the hours of 8am - 10pm we aim to respond within one hour.  Please note however, that Maison Vaslin is a very popular house and does get booked up early during the peak July and August months.
