Chez Tilly is a spacious and well equipped character town house with beautiful exposed stonework and beams. A very convenient village location with a good selection of shops. The house has breathtaking views from the lounge which opens out onto a terrace leading down to a patio where you can sit to dine al fresco or just take in the views.  The views can also be seen from the new bedroom - you can even lie in the bath and see them!

A perfect base for exploring the Perigord countryside and local towns and villages by car or using the bikes provided or a lovely village to stay to explore and relax in the countryside tranquillity.

Holiday Accommodation at Chez Tilly

A beautifully restored period terraced house which retains many features including exposed stonework, fireplace and old wooden beams. The house backs onto a terrace and patio with breathtaking views towards the open fields which can also be viewed from the lounge. There is patio furniture and a parasol together with a barbecue, perfect for al fresco wining and dining whilst enjoying the peace and tranquility and that fantastic view.

  • Main double bedroom with en-suite bath and shower room.  This has been recently added and built to a high standard with a super king size bed and matching cabinets and chest of drawers.
  • 2 no. large double bedrooms have sumptuous king size beds and wardrobes / shelves.
  • Twin room a spare TV has been provided for guests who may wish to bring their own games consoles.
  • Large garage providing parking for your car which has direct access to the dining room and kitchen.

4 bicycles have been provided for the use of guests which will fit teenagers / adults. Helmets and locks have also been provided.

About Naussannes in Dordogne, Aquitaine

The property is 1 minute walk from the village centre which is one of the famous bastides. In the villlage there are 2 boulangeries, a butcher, a supermarket, bar/tabac (sells European newspapers), post office, hardware and gift shops. There are three restaurants. A market is held in the village on Saturday and Tuesday mornings with a variety of stalls selling fresh local produce. There is a larger supermarket on the outskirts of the village about 5 minutes drive away. Other facilities include doctors' surgeries, vets and a bank. There are cash machines at the bank and also in the village square. There is a large church in the village which attracts many visitors.

The bastide town of Monpazier is 15km away and Bergerac is approximately 25km.

How To Get To Naussannes in Dordogne, South West France

Bergerac airport (served by Ryanair and FlyBe) is 20km (20 mins) away and is the nearest airport. Other airports include Bordeaux (135 km, 90 minutes); Limoges (170 km, 2 hrs); Rodez (189 km, 2 hrs 30 mins); Toulouse (190 km, 2hrs 15 mins). A new airport near Brive (called Brive-Sarlat) is due to open at some point in the future and this will be less than 90 minutes from Beaumont.

The house is on the D660 and is nearly 850 km from Calais and over 9 hours drive. It is 614 km from St Malo and under 7 hours drive from there.

The nearest RER rail station is at Lalinde, 10 km away. The nearest TGV station is at Libourne near Bordeaux.

We really enjoyed staying at your gite and loved the surrounding area - the local markets, Chateau's, Bergerac and Sarlatt, as well as the town itself. Having the Internet facilitate also was great at the house, as our two eldest are always going on line. The property was comfortable to stay in and we enjoyed eating outside on the patio area with the lovely views across the valley.

Enjoyed the stay at the property, from the level of accommodation (was amazed at the amount of space at the property), the facilities in the kitchen, the garage and terrace garden with great views.

With three children the washing machine facilities were also a god send - something we did not have during our first week in the Alps.

Beaumont is a lovely place and whilst we did explore Bergerac and the wider area this was the first time we had stayed in the area and are seriously thinking of booking again to come back next summer. The lady who met us when we first arrived was very helpful and suggested a couple of places to go.
