Set in nearly an acre, Le Pouy is at the end of a lane in the small hamlet of Lisse. The entire site was sown with wild flowers in 2007. Newly built in 2005 from a Scandinavian kit and finished to a high standard as the owners principal residence. The large lounge has 2 swivel recliners and a big comfy settee to enjoy tv or listen to the superb quality stereo.  Cook in the beautifully appointed kitchen. Eat at the large farmhouse table or at the huge shaded terrace table while you enjoy the view across the field to the woods. Drink mineral/spring water straight from the tap and breath the purest air in Europe. Cool-off in the new 10 x 5 pool after strolling through the endless oak and pine woods. In the heart of Gascony, renowned for its cuisine wine and armagnac, steeped in history with many fortified (bastide) towns and villages, Le Pouy is located on the edge of the hamlet of Lisse, next to the Chateau de Lisse, surrounded by forest and fields, yet only 10 mins from the bustling market town of Nerac with supermarkets and local shops. To the south lies the village of Mezin with its friday market, restaurants, local shops and a lively bar.
