Cottage with Pool near Beautiful Medieval Town

The Owl House is a two bedroom self- catering cottage close to the beautiful medieval town of St Jean d'Angely. On site we have an 11m by 7m swimming pool plus a 5m paddling pool, swings, basketball, sand pit , badminton and two open barns with table tennis, table football and a pool table.

Holiday Accommodation at Owl House

Arranged on two floors, the Owl House has been recently renovated and features exposed stone walls and timber beams.

Downstairs

  • Open plan kitchen and sitting/dining room
  • Large bathroom with bath and shower and plenty of hot water

Upstairs

  • Large main bedroom with high ceilings and exposed beams.
  • Second bedroom has two beds.

There are shutters to both bedrooms.

About Courant in Charente-Maritime, Poitou Charentes

The Owl House is situated in the centre of Courant a small rural village with daily bread deliveries. It is less tha ten minutes from the beautiful medieval town of St Jean d'Angely which has bars and restaurants arranged in attractive squares.

How To Get To Courant in Charente-Maritime, South West France

The Owl House is only ten minutes from junction 34 of the A10. We are three hours drive from St Malo, four from Caen and with the new road links it is possible to drive from Calais in six to seven hours.  We are less than an hour from La Rochelle and Poiters airports - Ryanair and Easy Jet fly to both airports.
