The Château du Mont  is a XIIth Century building amended over centuries and now totally restored and modernized. The owners offer luxury bed and breakfast accomodation or self catering with all facilities usually expected, such as use of the swimming pool.

About the location

Set up in rural hilly area where the famous "Charolais beef" is bred , with panoramic views , 5 minutes away from medieval village with all facilities (shops, restaurants).

The area has many famous restaurants, including the world famous Michelin starred Troigros which is 20 minutes away ; also many vineyards close by as the Beaujolais region is 30 minutes away, Burgundy is 45 minutes away and we even have our local wine "Les Cotes Roannaises".

There are many cultural sites around: there is a well known tour of medieval roman churches as well as lovely medieval villages with beautiful old houses.
