Garden Flat on Hillside in Nice, Alpes-Maritimes
Nice with a difference - a flat (sleeps 4, max 5) in a typical Niçois house set in a terraced garden of olive trees all within easy reach of the Mediterranean sea.
The sun, the sea, the view and peace - out of the hubbub of the centre of town yet close to all facilities.

Garden flat, over 800 sq ft, in a typical Niçois villa situated on a hillside overlooking valley and with sea view.

- Lounge, leading directly out onto the terrace, has a very comfortable double sofa bed, TV, etc. and an electric organ

Large terrace, facing south and west, shaded by olive trees. It is equipped with table and chairs, a small barbecue, relaxing chairs and even a table tennis table for the more energetic.
About Nice in Alpes-Maritimes, Provence - Cote d'Azur
The property is situated just 1 km from the Promenade des Anglais and the Baie des Anges on the side of one of the hills surrounding Nice, altitude 100m, overlooking the valley and with a sea view.
The house is towards the top of the oldest residential development of the town of Nice, Parc Mosca, where most houses date from the 1920's. It is really like a village as access (and exit) is by a narrow winding road up the hill. As this side of the hill faces south and west we enjoy a micro-climate and many of the original terraces still have the centuries-old olive trees.
The 'village' itself is quaint and quiet. At the bottom of the hill the bus (just 1€), every 10 minutes or so, goes right to the centre of town with connections to many other destinations. For Antibes, Cannes, Grasse, Vence, etc bus stop is on the Promenade des Anglais (10 mins walk).
Also at the bottom of the hill are a good selection of local restaurants, including for excellent traditional Niçois food, banks, supermarkets, chemists, etc.

How To Get To Nice in Alpes-Maritimes, South of France and the Riviera
Nice airport is the most convenient, with car hire available at the airport. Direct flights to Nice from the UK (over 50 daily from all major airports) with Easyjet, BA and BMI. Also direct flights from all major EU destinations and from New York daily. The flat is just 15 minutes from the airport by car. Parking is available in the property at a pinch.
Motorway to Nice, exit 'Promenade des Anglais'.
Whether you arrive by plane or motorway once on the Prom drive towards 'Nice centre' and take the mini tunnel on the left, to Magnan. Once out of the tunnel drive up bd. de la Madeleine for just 1 km and turn right at no. 100 into Parc Mosca. Alternatively, why not try the French railways (SNCF) and their very comfortable TGV at less than 6 hours from Paris passing through very beautiful scenery, especially along the coast?
