Normandy is the perfect place for anyone and everyone to visit. Whatever you are wanting from your holiday - whether its rest and relaxation with a bottle of Frances finest, a visit back through history at the Normandy beaches and World War museums or if you want to be active and family orientated at the theme parks, zoo's and country walks - Normandy offers it all.

The accommodation at The Nuthatch comprises:

• Living room with a wood-burning stove, colour T.V. and video
• Modern fitted kitchen with granite worktops, and dinning area.

Beamed throughout.

First floor

• Mezzanine double bedroom with beamed ceilings and en-suite bathroom with extra large power shower, W.C. and wash hand basin.

Outside:

• Private garden with garden furniture, sun loungers and barbecue
• Parking for 2 cars

About the location

Situated on the edge of the St Sever forest, in the heart of Calvados - ideal for walkers, bird watchers, cyclists, fishing and horse-riding.

Calvados is well known for its cuisine - including cream sauces, cheeses, andouille sausages, calvados brandy and cider.

Approx. 25 minutes to the town of Vire (lots of shops and restaurants - large market every Friday morning, swimming pool with slides, steam room and spa's etc..), or 20 minutes to Villedieu-les-Poeles (known as the Copper town - famous for the bell museum).

Close to the Normandy landing beaches, Bayeaux Tapestry, the medieval town of Fougeres and the famous abbey at Le Mont St Michel.

Excellent positioning for all the family - close to two zoo's, a reptile house, two aquariums and only a train ride to Disney Land, Paris!

Very good access to all ports to the UK and Jersey.
