The Garden

La Belle Etoile is a picturesque 3 bedroomed character cottage.

• On entering the cottage you will feel completely at home in the family kitchen, which is fully equipped with fitted units, table and chairs and a feature of the room is a typical Normandy fireplace with a woodburning stove.
• The sitting room is beautifully furnished with a satellite TV and video DVD player. Views through the leaded windows look over the beautiful landscaped gardens and surrounding countryside and french doors lead out onto the terrace.
• A downstairs bedroom leads off from the sitting room with a double bed and an ensuite shower room.

Upstairs, the character of the cottage has been retained as much as possible with exposed beams and beautiful stone walls. Once again, each room has been beautifully decorated and furnished.

Outside

A wonderful terrace, with a large garden, which has a table and chairs for outside dining. From here you can relax while soaking up the peacefulness of the surrounding countryside. There is also shared use of a large above ground swimming pool and children can also enjoy the play area with swings, slide and a trampoline.

The front of the property receives stunning sunsets that are best viewed with a glass of wine and will make the perfect ending to each day.

About the location

The cottage lies in an area of outstanding natural beauty on a small country lane, making it safe for children (apart from the occasional passing tractor).  The town of Gavray is a 3 minute drive away and provides for all your needs, banking, bakers, butchers, restaurants and a supermarket.

Beaches are near by and are very child friendly.  Within a 15 minute radius you will find the town of Villedieu, famous for copper pots and it's Tuesday market.  Granville and it's historic port where day trips are available to the Channel Islands, is only 30 mins away.

The cathedral city of Coutances, with the fantastic public gardens and ancient cathedral is also nearby.
Just an hour away you will find the world famous Mont St Michel and the d-day landing beaches.
