Grand Chalet Cheylard, situated in the pretty village of Lus-La-Croix-Haute is the perfect location for a French retreat. Whether you want to spend the day relaxing on the patio and admiring the many views or set out on bike or foot to explore the land, there is something to meet your every mood.
There is a large patio from the open plan living area which has a small view and amazing views of the mountains. The Provençal climate boasts 300 days sunshine a year so the weather ensures you have the freedom to do whatever you please.
Only a 5 minute stroll away is Lus village where you can stock up on supplies or have a quick cold glass of wine or beer in the pretty square, just for a change of scenery or after a hard days walking or cycling.

Grand Chalet Cheylard, situated at the foot of the Alps, in the tranquil village of Lus-La-Croix-Haute is the perfect location for an alpine retreat.
- Kitchen / dining / living room - an open plan area which includes a good sized kitchen with wood burning stove. This opens up to the dining room with a pine table and seating for 12 diners. It also included its own mahogany bar, perfect for concocting your favourite cocktail. The living room includes a cosy corner sofa and seating to relax in front of the fire.
- 6 bedrooms - all have been decorated with comfort and practicality in mind. There are 5 double bedrooms and 1 family room with twin beds and bunk beds, perfect for children, a travel cot is also available.
- 2 bathrooms - 1 upstairs and 1 downstairs.
About Lus La Croix Haute in Drôme, Rhone Alps
The chalet is a 5 minute saunter to the pretty village of Lus-La-Croix-Haute. There are 2 restaurants in the village, Hotel du Commerce, where Monsieur cooks specialities of the region himself and Les 3 Marmottes which has a lovely, friendly bar and dining room with an extensive menu.
Lus has everything you would need on your doorstep including a bakery, butchers, grocers, wine shop, post office, library and even it's own ski slope. There is also a market every Sunday morning selling everything a French market should from strong cheese to pungent garlic.

How To Get To Lus La Croix Haute in Drôme, The Rhone Alps (SE France)
The chalet it located in Lus-La-Croix-Haute which is about a 1 hr 15 minutes drive south from Grenoble airport, 1hr 45 from Lyon airport and 2 hours drive north from Marseilles.
The motorway from Grenoble and Marseilles is the A51. (Zip/Post code is 26620 for those with Sat.Nav.)
From the south (Marsailles/Nice) come off at junction 23 and continue along the N75. Take the turn off for Lus-La-Croix-Haute, drive right through the village and then take the turning toward Le Cheylard and the chalet is the last chalet on your left before the farm.
From the North (Grenoble/Lyon) take the A51, do not exit anywhere and this road turns into the N75. Then as above.
